BELLEVUE, WA, December 02, 2004 - LexisNexis Applied Discovery, a leading provider of electronic discovery services to the nation’s top law firms and corporations, announced today that it has expanded its litigation consulting services with the addition of former Unigard General Counsel Scott Kallander as a senior consulting attorney.

Kallander will be a key player in the Applied Discovery Consulting Services Group, which is responsible for providing clients with legal, technical, and project management services. The organization’s consulting covers all aspects of e-discovery, including preservation, retention, production, and management of electronic documents.

The expansion of our services and appointment of senior attorneys with corporate experience, like Scott Kallander, are examples of our commitment to helping our clients meet their discovery obligations with a high level of legal and technical expertise," said Michele Vivona, Chief Operating Officer, LexisNexis Applied Discovery.

Prior to working as general counsel for Unigard Insurance Group, Kallander was a partner with 470-attorney firm Cozen O’Connor.

Kallander has a law degree from The Ohio State University College of Law and a bachelor’s degree from Miami University. He is a member of the Washington State and American Bar Associations.
